🎯 Skipr is looking for a full stack developer (Golang / React)

To support its growth, Skipr is looking for Medior full stack developers (Golang / React). They will report to the technical team manager and will work in collaboration with the product team.

Main responsibilities  

  • Integrate with one of our product team composed of 4-5 engineers and a Product Manager, to work on a part of a product in autonomy.

  • Be responsible for all aspects of the development: technical refinement, implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring. 

  • Dedicate efforts to maximize the reliability and uptime of our system, don’t hesitate to go out of your way to make sure something is working properly.

  • Collaborate closely with the Product team to refine requirements and translate them into technical tasks, ensuring that reliability remains a top priority.

  • Be part of the engineering community by training and helping your peers whenever possible, making sure everyone has access to the same knowledge and expertise.

Job requirements

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience

  • Experience in ReactJS and/or Golang or relevant technologies

  • Experience in PostgreSQL

  • Experience in Docker, K8s and Google Cloud platform

  • Understanding of software engineering concepts such as common data structures, OOP, REST APIs, etc.

  • Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance, knowledge of test automation (cypress, playwright, etc)

  • Experience in working in critical environments with a focus on reliability and quality

  • Willingness to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

  • Fluent in English and French.
